Are Modular Homes The Home of The Future?

The future is upon us and as the population grows housing may have to go another direction with modular homes. Since these type homes can be moved when needed many people can transport their home with them when they decide to make a move because of a job transfer or just wanting to “escape” city living.
With some areas that are overpopulated a modular home may be just the answer to the housing shortgage. This means that with a modular home it can be constructed and moved in less time than a traditional brick or stucco home. A brick home will take more time to build whereas a modular home can be built in a matter of weeks instead of months and transported to the area the homeowner chooses.
Another advantage of deciding on a modular home is that you can add sections or an entire floor in less time than building onto a traditional home. Because a modular home is constructed with screws instead of nails this gives a more secure feeling and makes the home stronger than other methods of construction. Modular homes are another alternative to living in a brick or mobile home and additions can be added.
